Default Heat

Just a dumb ? Why isn't there an opening at the back of the hood to allow some of the hot air to escape from the engine compartment. It's all sealed up pretty well. (Maybe not enough heat would escape when you're idling anyway since that seems to be when it gets a little warm) Just curiuos

Gordon K told me to remove the rubber around the windshield/firewall area, to let the heat out. Mine was starting to fall of and he said not to replace it. They get too hot under there anyway.

Ya know, :skep: one of those neat "cold air" hoods I've seen would really help that. Wonder if the wife would buy that theory.....

What about water issues... though maybe that was for water protection also... wonder if you could just trim the top down about an inch or so... that might help... have to look into this... sure would help cool down the engine ....
