injector?
I tumned up my 85 with plugs,wires,cap and rotor and #6 is not firing well . I replaced again the wire and plug and cap. it is still missing really bad in that cyl. injector or what else to check?? is there a cheep way to check cause I am poor?

How do you know that it is the #6 cylinder that is not firing?
Have you checked to see if you have spark going to that cylinder?
Have you unplugged the injector while running to see if there is a difference?

I pulled off all the wires 1 at a time and found that with #6 off it runs the same as if it was on.. I even took it around the block with the wire off and no change from when it was on. so I replaced the new wire plug and new cap again. I checked for spark with another plug witht he car running at that hole had good fire. that is what is leading me to the injector? also did a compression test and it was about 135 so that leads ME to believe that is is spark or fuel and I have elimiated spark (I think)

The #6 injector on my '89 went down and caused some problems last year. It turned out that the resistance in the injector had broken down so that it would not function. They should read at about 16 ohms each. #6 read at about 5 ohms or so.

I was also looking into pulling them out and having them cleaned.. anyone ever do this?
