I was thinking of filling the rear storage compartments with gear oil, or roofing nails, then having a solenoid wired to the dash, so you could flip a switch, and the bottom of the storage compartments would open up and reak havoc on the tailgater. They'd be easy to refill to!

Had an old van right on my butt on the freeway, took the off ramp and he stuck right with me. At the bottom is a nice hairpin corner, hit that corner as hard as I could, guy in van nearly took out the gaurd rail. He dropped wayyyyyy back. I bet his pants were full

Mid Life 90, I love that one. It sounds like the guy in the van was paying more attention to your rear end than where you were both headed. Maybe he will think twice next time.

I'm working on one right now. A 60 LED super bright third brake light :)
I like that idea. I also thought about a mod where the spare tire is kept. Take out the spare and rig a connector button to release the compartment from the driver dash. Out of the spare compartment comes about a thousand tire shredders to dump all over the road like in Tomorrow Never Dies. Of course, you might wanna have the rear license plate flip up too and then step on the gas before he writes it down. LOL
I can't stand these friggin tailgaters...I used to just be a speed demon and avoid em all, but this week I just got my last ticket for speeding. LOL I can't be doin it anymore...or get caught. I just got eligible in time for defensive driving school. LMAO. My date's on the 7th. I went 2 years ago on the same date for gettin clocked by the same friggin cop while avoiding a TAILGATER and it was on the same intersection. Maybe I should just get a radar detector or somethin. I want one of those old stealth jammers that you can't find anywhere anymore. They actually worked even though they're illegal probably in all 50 states by now. All owed to dumbazz tailgaters. I have a feeling some dumbf***s gonna ram into me soon and I'm gonna have to go through all the lawsuit s*** because I aint gettin another f*&^% speeding ticket damnit....lol. I never realized how bad obeying the speed limit SUCKS until now.

In my other vehicles I dont mind jamming on the brakes, I have done it before and will do it again. Now the Vette on the other hand, I have never trusted insurance companies...Whose to say you will get what is really owed to you to get her fixed right again...after most accidents, most things arent right again. There are all sorts of things that can get misaligned.
This very point is the only reason why I just don't go postal on these tailgating morons. On the brighter side though I'm getting my concealed weapons license soon!!. :D
