don't know but I'd like to have that as an option. However doubt it will work on manual transmission cars as you would have to leave it in neutral and somehow bypass the clutch depression switch to start the vehicle. Shouldn't be as big a deal in AT cars tho. Good luck, Michael
Safety issues aside, I don't think it would be difficult to install remote start on a manual tranny. You would need to leave the car in neutral, bypass the neutral safety switch, and bypass the VATS with a fixed resistor (also required for autos).
And now for another point of view - - Here's GM Position:

Alarm / Keyless Entry - Aftermarket Installatin Cautions
Bulleting 93-23-9J
October, 1992
Model and Year: 1986 - 1993 Corvette
Due to the complexity of the Corvette's electrical system, Chevrolet dealers should not install or recommend the after-market installation of an additional secuiryt system or a keyless entry system.
The Corvette is equipped with two security systems, Universal Theft Deterent (UTD), and the PASS-KEY system. These systems have proven to be very effective in deterring thefts. There is no need for an aftermarket security system.
Also, the 1993 Corvette is equipped with the Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) which interfaces with the UTD system. These systems are highly integrated and the addition of any after-market components may interfer with the UTD and PASS_KEY security systems or the operation of other Corvette electrical systems, causing customer dissatisfaction.
THE INSTALLATION OF AFTER-MARKET SECURITY SYSTEMS AND KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEMS COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE AND COULD VOID PORTIONS OF THE VEHICLE WARRANTY.

That's interesting, but I highly doubt that any part of my car is still under warranty. :D
