Targa Top Paint
No, I'm not going to paint my whole targa top. :)
The front edges where the targa top makes a seal are metal, painted black. One of them has rubbed off and it's shiny metal underneath. What's the best course of action to fix this?
Should I just use some paint thinner to get the remaining specks off, then paint it? What kind of paint should I use? I don't want it to look smeared and uneven when it's finished, but I can't possibly imagine messing this up if I know what to use.

had somewhat the same issue,,, just strip mine off, primered, then painted with enamal... as a temp fix till i get her repainted...
