I have identified what is to me a leak which is not behaving like your normal everyday leak that is usually fairly easy to find. I have a 94 coupe with 70,000 miles. I have changed out the Opti-spark and water pump at 60,000(I found out the hard way not to wash a LT-2 to clean it up). This leak does not appear until the engine has cooled and sat for many hours. It is comming from front of te engine and there is no wateron pullies or belts. The highest point in engine bay is on the front crossmember. I'm going to pull water pump was a new Delco when I put it on, I'm wondering does the LT-1 have freeze plugs an front of eng,or any other quirks that could be giving me grief

sounds like the new waterpump, or, at the very least, where the pump joins to the engine.
there is nothing up there that I can think of that would leak coolant, except the pump.
