I replaced the standard 90 seats with a set out of a 95. They may be prettier but the 90's held me in place MUCH better, I have to brace myself now before whipping around a corner.

Does anyone know if the "replace the bottom cushion straps" works to fix the 86 sports seats too? My seat is uncomfortable but I think it is because the bottom cushion needs fixing. If I can replace straps instead of a more substantial fix, I'd like to go that route.

I had a 91 with Sport seats and I now have a 96 with Regular seats.....
The 91 sports seats IMHO were more comfortable, had MUCH better lateral support then the newer design.
The newer ones aren't bad by any means, But I like the other ones a little better. I also liek the look of the 91 Sport seats... they look much more racey. Everyone who sat in them loved them as well.
Im a skinny guy, and can see that for a bigger person, the newer seat could be a little bit more comfortable....

My 87 has the sport seats, anyone over about 190lbs wont really fit, I likem tho
