Re: Question on C4 seats (TD-Machines)
:iagree: :iagree: :iagree:
I did however, take the bottom cushion out and put in additional straps for support. Each of my seats now has 4 straps. I think it makes a big difference!
I like my 89 standard seats, the bolsters are cool, they feel like they hold me in. The sports seats are awful unless you're very skinny, the buttons in the bolsters dig into your legs and cut off the circulation...very uncomfortable!

I have both 89 reg. & 89 Sport (and 93 Sport- same seat)

Re: Question on C4 seats (jwatty)
I have a 96 with sport seats and find them very comfortable. I am 6'1" and about 220. My wife is 5'4" and much lighter (thank god). She likes them a lot, especially the headrest.
I just put in some new leather with foam in my 90,I considered alot of different choices sat and drove many different years...considered the c5s...but ended up with the Standard 90s in leather...I'm happy as I can be with them good support and they look very nice.
The late C4 seats may look more modern, but I like the look and feel of my '92 sport seats.
I like my 95s sport seats. IMO the standard seats are just fugly though (I replaced mine with the sports). I have never sat in the 90-93 seats, so I can't really compare, they aren't pretty though :D
