I am going to be installing new brake pads, rotors, and flex hoses this winter on my 1984 Corvette. I have the parts, but I think I need to buy a set of brake line wrenches. Does anyone know what size the brake lines are on my car?
Brakes: 15,17 mm, 13/16 combo... I use the 13/16 on the caliper mounting bracket, their metric but it fits really tight, so no change of stripping the head... also.. buy a good set, snap-on, etc... tighter tollerances...

 UUUMMMMMM he said LINE WRENCHES! for the BRAKE LINES! I can't remember off hand, but Sears sells a good set of line wrenches.
Are you going to use the crossdrilled or slotted rotors?
thanks

I bought a kit from VBP that includes slotted rotors, pads, stainless steel flex hoses, and brake fluid. I probably would not have gone with this equipment, but it turned out to be just as cheap as OEM, so I figured I might as well go with better parts. I should mention that my Corvette has 183,000 miles, and is a work in progress.
I got the caliper bolts & washers from my local Chevy dealer; the other parts should be available from a local brake parts dealer, of the Chevy dealer.
