I was just wondering if anyone had ever bought the console plate from Eckler's for a 6 - speed 94 -96. http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...A2CS1BR94T73P3
I was wondering if it looked just like the GM one since it's a reproduction of the original because it's half the price that they want for one at the dealership. Any input would be appreciated.

Re: Console Plate question (LaTechEE)
I just bought the console plate for my '92 LT-1 auto from a Chevy dealer and the price was about the same as Eckler's (around $280). What price did the dealer quote you? Doesn't sound right....
The dealer quoted me $293. I don't know if you saw the right price because the reproduction one in Eckler's is $150 not $280 (unless Eckler's has a GM factory one that I didn't know about). Either way, my jaw hit the floor when he said 300 bucks for that plastic piece.
Belmor, I drive mine everyday too. I mainly go back and forth between Ruston for school though. I've probably seen yours around too. I try to acknowledge all the vettes I see in the area, but I think you're the first person I've seen on the forum from West Monroe. Anyway, I'm sure I'll see you around town sometime, since it's such a small town and all.
