replacement seats
my 86 has stock red leather sport seats and they are both in need of a complete overhaul, including air bladder system (bags, pump and controls), bolster motors and operating switches, reclining switch for passenger seat and the back and seat foam and covers for both seats. I've thought about putting in some aftermarket seats but have no idea what fits and looks OK. Any recommendations on how best to repair these or replace them? Can I install another year Vette (and which ones would that be) car seats which will look and fit OK? Help!

Your best bet would be to either to restore the seats using parts/leather from mid-america or a similar supplier, as far as other seats any from 84-96 will fit, i think the 89-93 look/feel best, but thats just an opinion. Ebay has good deals on nice used seats and sometimes leather too

I bought a pair of seats for mine on E-bay. They had everything tracks, motors, pumps, bladders and switches. They are in brand new condition and the price was less than for just new seat covers.
