Default C4R Headlights

Have any of you seen these on e-bay? Anyone have opinions about how they look? Has anyone had any dealings with the vendor?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2448734827

I have different problems with my left and right headlights, and am considering converting to the "non-pop up" style. The only others I have seen list in Mid-America for almost $1,000.

I think they are hideous right along with the rest of that C5-West kit. You'd think they would at least match the paint for something they were putting on ebay.

I think that since they didn't even show a pic of it on the C4 it probably says something about how they look on the C4.

Vinnies87 has non popup headlights. I dont know if these are the same as the C4R. I think they look great, however some question whether the light output is as great (despite hi-wattage power input). Either way, it is an improvement over the stock setup.

Do a search for topics from him. He posted better pictures (Than in this link below). of his setup. I also believe he saved possibly 15 pounds doing this.)

I hate that C4/5 kit. I have never seen one that looks good. I have seen a white ZR-1 with the lights and it looks decent.

I think it'd look okay on a dark or black vette, but I don't really like em much.

What's wrong with the stock lights? Yeah, they pop up, but only when it's dark, so you can't see em anyways really. :auto:

I don't like those on E-bay, they even stick up. I do like Vinnies very much, but they're too expensive for me.

If mine worked properly, I wouldn't change them. However, the bezels are cracked on both of mine; the driver's side is not square in the opening, so it rubs when I open it by hand; AND I have an unidentified electrical problem, so they do not open. In short, I am basically looking at having to replace everything anyway, so I am hoping for something that will be more trouble-free.

I think I prefer Vinnie's also, but I agree that they are on the pricey side. Has anyone out there seen them less expensive?

I believe that white ZR-1 you have seen has a homemade light kit on it. Not the Breathless, or the one pictured above.
