Advice on purchasing a 1994
Hey all, a friend of mine is looking at a '94 with 90k. Anything in particular he should look for before buying?

check maintenance history...
make sure the opti and waterpump as been replaced...
at that age and mileage, some things may not work. some are more expensive than others. seats are a common problem, so are power windows. Check the antenna. It may look broken, but it could be as easy as new mast.
check tire ware. it should be even.
wheel bearings start to fail at these mileage levels, too.
is this an auto or manual? clutches go at about 90k~100k.
depending on condition, figure its worth about $10k~$12k.

Bogus hit the biggies....OPTI AND WATERPUMP!! If they havn't been replaced (and they probalby havn't), they'll NEED to be replaced SOON.
