but at cruising speeds, it's not that loud or annoying. I think it sound just perfect, like a Corvette should :yesnod: :thumbs: :cheers:

Looks cool! I bet it sounds great. If I was you though and you were totally happy with them, I would have the pipes welded instead of those clamps. Just my opinion! :thumbs: :thumbs:

I just got my elims put on yesterday, and like you, love 'em. I had mine flanged along with the Magnaflows so I could swap back and forth. But after hearing the elims, the Magnaflows might be up for sale :smash:
I like your gold tips, they look as good as that garage! :D

Back on topic, I still don't think the pipes need to be welded instead of the clamps. Because: the stock mufflers had only been clamped on, for 19 years! And I took the clamps off and still drove it around no problem. In fact, seperating the muffler from the other pipe was damn near impossible. ...now the why: the clamps create a ring indentation of the outer pipe and that sort of locks into the inner pipe => They are stuck good :yesnod:
