Valve cover question
Anybody have a set of Carbon Component's carbon fiber valve covers? If so, how do they seal? Any comments? http://www.carboncomponents.com

I have an e-mail into them and even asked about a possible group purchase on them. We'll now soon about the price, I hope.
Here is a thought, anybody in area code 714? Their number is (714) 374-6181. If it is local for you give them a call and ask about it. Then let us know.

Those are pretty sweet. I don't know how they'd look on my engine, but it depends on the price. Strick I'm close to 714. But on their site the number is (760) 438-7434 :confused: . Mapquest says I'm about 82 miles from Carlsbad. :D
Still, I think it would be nice to see them on a LT1 or L98 to see how they'd look. :cheers:

I sent a message to the company and asked about prices and group purchase possiblities and this is what there reply was:
"Hi Tom,
These valve covers retail at $329, and they are awesome. As you saw on our site, we injection mold our products, and the surface finishes come out excellent. What kind of numbers do you have in mind? We could get the price down to $225 if you can order enough, but we will work with you on any order. Let us know what you think...
