Re: Something every C4 owner should do... (corvette-pilot)
 idea !
Sure beats my manila folder stuffed with papers
I hear that! I never plan on selling either, but its still a super idea to get everything nicely organized. Since I'm kinda hyper  this is a perfect idea for me as well

Looks fantastic!!!! I keep all my brochures and bills and nic naks in a file in my filing cabinet, but your idea is a little more "showy". Good job...
Re: Something every C4 owner should do... (NBM C5 WANNABE)
I have one. It's red to match my car! I have every record and every detail, receipts and pictures about my vette and it's history in there. If and that's a big IF I ever sell my car, the book will go with whoever buys it. I have a book about my house also, since it was built in 1880! Historical details in there, and I have a book on each of my show dogs. My girls tease me that I keep better track of my vette and dogs than I do of them! Hum? They could be right! :seeya
Re: Something every C4 owner should do... (Q1KSLVR)
Not a bad idea, all my receipts would not fit in it. I have a folder that is at least 4 inches thick. I purchased the program automotive wolf and keep all my records on it.
It is a little scary to know exactly what you put into a corvette  .
Awesome...I've been thinking about doing this for a while now. I just have a file as it is, but a binder would be cool. I'd just be terrified I'd misplace it in a move or something! You got me motivated, though, and today may be the day to finally start this project.
Re: Something every C4 owner should do... (Perfusion)
super idea but.............When I bought my GS it had nothing with it (from dealer) Months later I found the original owner who informed me he left a 3" binder full of all the info you all are talking about. Went back to the dealer and was told "they knew nothing about it" Now you know the former owner wasn't BS'en me, so I wonder what these guys do with this kind of information that the new owner would love to have ???? Really sad I think !!
I'm now starting my own folder/binder for myself if no one else. :mad
I have a photo book with my car in it's original state(red/medium cognac) and through the process of the paint/engine etc. I try to :leaving: at shows sometimes as it grows tiring telling the stories three or four times a night :jester
Re: Something every C4 owner should do... (NBM C5 WANNABE)
Yep, excellent idea. I have done this on any and all vehicles I have ever owned since I started driving 14 years ago. I also write down the miles and gallons of gasoline I get everytime I fill up. This allows you to track your fuel mileage also. I also keep all of my receipts and dates of anything done to the car. Not only does it help a future owner, but it also is good when looking for warranty information on any part or tires, etc.
