Default Caution: possibly a stupid question...

Okay, I have a completely stock 1993 LT1 A4 with 2.59 rears. I don't even have a K&N in the thing yet. In its current condition, what 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times would be reasonable in the hands of a competent driver (not me...)
Thanks!

ps... what I lack in answers I make up for in questions! :D

The best I managed out of my '93 with the exact same setup you have is a 14.0 at 100mph. I'm sure if I knew how to launch back then that it would've been in the 13's.
I'm sure Mr Mojo will chime in - Frank really knows how to make these stock Vettes go in the 1/4!

I didn't look for your particular year and setup but you might take a look anyway:

Yeah, I tried Corvette Archive and even put this question up to their forum (but there's only like six people online there so I though that I'd try here. Sorry for the dupe). I looked the data up, but the car that they used was a 6 speed. Plus, I know that the published stats are not always consistent with the real world...

I ran 13.8 at 103 bone stock at Wentzville MO (just outside of St. Louis)
It's a 94 auto with 2:59's. That was my best run with absolutely NO spin.

Very  ! Now, that means I (with my incredible skills) could probably drive in the 17s @ about 80! :lolg:

I would say in your current setup you'd probably be in the mid to upper 13 range. A higher stall torque converter, steeper gears and a catback and its hello 12s :yesnod:

that sounds reasonable... 0-60, probably 5.8sec

Still... that's not too shabby, right? I mean those numbers will still put to shame 90% of the cars on the road, yes? I am NOT having second thoughts about the car, just curious. And- it is reassuring to know that my 10 year old car in stock form still has nearly the same punch as the new GTO. That's without even factoring in the handling sde of things... and plus, it's a Corvette.
