I know this has to be a common topic in the forum. I want to replace the stock exhaust on my 91 and don't know what to buy. I have an automatic transmission if that makes a difference. I like the looks of the B & B exhaust but don't know how it will sound. I don't want anything too loud but want an improvement over the stock ehhaust system. Any suggestions?

Re: exhaust preference (My 91)
For every possible option, there is a fan.
I was pretty diligent in my research before I bought and really decided it is sound and looks that it comes down to. All make pretty similar HP gain claims - some more real than others - but similar none the less.
I have had Flowmasters and Dynomax on cars in the past, but went with Magnaflows on this car and have been VERY pleased.
Get some muffler eliminator :D  The easiest, cheapest way to go
Also if you leave in the stock cat and pre-cats, it's not too loud :yesnod:

Great suggestion!! Oh, and I happen to be selling a set in the For Sale section of the forum
Seriously though - I took my stock muffler's off for Flowmaster 40 series over the summer - Granted I only put about 200 miles on them (they are for sale , too), but the resonance was insane, and they didn't have the "mean" growl I was hoping they would - they made my car sound like the UPS truck. So I figured cat elims and muffler elims would sound great... Until I heard a buddy's Corsa system. Needless to say, my system will be here Monday
