:D :D :D Both of us should be prepared to catch a lot of heat on this one :smash:
But I have used Slick 5 for years in my 82 Z28, 350,000+ miles
Runs great, never even had the heads off!
Don't use it in the Vette because I use Amzoil Series 2000 Racing Gold, 20/50 which appears to have the best rating for least wear.
:D Be prepared for the folks claiming snake oil to come out in force
i wouldn't put any kid of additive in my car but thats just m op. Also if you are going to slick 50 is dated compared to what they have out now to cure problems.

Re: Slick 50 (kalyko)
As I recall, Slick50's main claim to fame is that it contains the miracle additive Teflon (PTFE or polytetrafluoroethylene).
Dupont, the holder of the patent for PTFE published a paper some years back stating that PTFE powders in motor oil do absolutely nothing in an internal combustion engine.
It won't hurt, but it won't be of any benefit either...except, of course, to the bank account of the people who market Slick50!
