Many of you may already know about this, but I tried it just as a fluke...it works great!! O found an old Oral-B electric (battery) toothbrush in the drawer. It works really good for getting into little grooves and corners. I'm currently detailing the engine. Get it a little damp with some soapy water and bang...away goes that dirt you can't usually get to. I bought a few extra tips at the grocery store and can even apply Armorall with it. Pretty slick and REALLY easy.
Just wanted to pass that along.
Oh...by the way...it's the ONLY way to effectively clean wire looms.
I use to save my old tooth brushes for cleaning things, but you have the better choice
I just may have to go out and buy me a new spin brush and retire the old one to the shop :D

Re: Detailing tip (emoshn)
That's a great tip. I have an old electric toothbrush sitting in a bathroom drawer. My dentist told me not to use it. He didn't say not to use it on a car though. Perhaps I will pass this on to him. He has a C3!
Glad everyone liked it...the water pik is terrific idea...gonna go get one. For those really tight spots you could use engine degrease and then water pik it. Great idea!!!

The only downside is there's only about a foot and a half of usable line between the unit contining the reservoir and the nozzle head. I suppose a length of plastic aquarium tubing could be spliced in to make it a little more practical. As long as you didn't go crazy and lengthen it to the point where you could leave the unit in the bathroom while you were waterpiking the Vette out in the driveway, the pressure should still be pretty good. You also might want to fabricate a larger reservoir as well but I guess the first order of business is to see if it even works....
