Can't remember where I found vin info, but it sounds like your looking for rpo info. If so look under center console lid or rear storage lid for a list of options. If you have a Z51 it will list this option there.

The 5th digit is a Z which denoted a ZR1 and the 8th digit is J which means LT5. COnsidering a ZR1 has wider rear body work (and massive heads and intake plenum) it's kinda hard to misrepresent one.
