do all C4s scrape on minor road dips and steep driveways, etc.? I am a newbie and cant believe my stock '88 would have to be angled like a lowrider . very slowly and carefuly to drive on normal streets. at dips and driveways I am thinking sagging factory shocks /springs? I know It is just the air damm (sp) dragging but! I am just starting to get to know this proud lady and the sound is enough to chill me out, I need a better cure than the one I am using to get into my own driveway which is 2x4s "softening" the difference between the street and my driveway
Thanks for the help and for letting me into your "fraternity"

First of all welcome. I know you will like it here. You really have to be careful. I remember parking head on in a parking place, you know the one with the concrete block. I pulled in too close and heard the scrape. You are right it sounded awful. I just knew that when I backed up I would see part of my car on the ground. Now Im careful on speed bumps, parking spaces, etc.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the first scrape. I did that at a store. I used to have a 4x4 explorer and pulled up the same way.
Advice, stay back, stay way back. Park further away from things until you get used to it.
Yup, as far as dragging the low parts on driveways, that's one of the luxurys of owning a C4 Corvette.
I've learned to watch out for parking lot bumpers, high curbs, speed bumps, as well as driveways. And I don't try to drive over any roadkill bigger than a squirrel.
