It's been a long 4 months, I am really gonna enjoy the rest of the day :yesnod: :seeya :seeya
Know how you feel. It's 85 degrees here in Texas. Great Corvette weather.
It was 55 here and windy but still great corvette weather for this part of the world. Took her up over sumas mt. some good twisties then onto the freeway to streach her legs. Ran like a champ, never missed a beat. What a great car, now if I could only keep my wifes hands off of it. :boxing :smash:
Popped my 88 out of hibernation yesterday, that first blast down the road is a real kick in the pants! It keeps snowing here on and off, so it's back in the garage. But it's "locked and loaded" ready for that next opportunity. It must be nice to have "vette season" all year round.
I installed new speakers front and rear - Boston Acoustics, an Alpine head unit and a Kenwood 4 channel amp for my "Summer celebration" It was 95 here today and they say plan on 100 tomorrow. It's hot. You guys with snow or 50 degrees think you have it rough.
Took it to my barber (they had been asking) today and than took it to my parents...
...that was a surprise (to them) - I think my mother thinks I'm crazy. But she liked the color (light blue metallic) and marveled at how you fall into the cockpit.
I decided to drive the vette today to get a haircut and something to eat. It's pouring rain right now, that is a very good thing. It'll wash the salt off the roads. :hurray:

Things like this make me grateful that my wife likes her Ford!! I don't think I could stand it if I had to share the Vette with her, too!!!!!!!!!!! Your a good man, Charlie Brown!!
spring has been here for 2 days out of the last 2 weeks and it's rained both of the days here in michigan. it looks like it'll be in the mid 50's this week with lots of rain to wash off the last of the salt. maybe this weekend i might put the insurance back on.
 woohoo!!! yep absolutely gorgeous here in Florida. First of spring... fresh Mobil 1 change, oil filter, air filter, spritz clean the TB, dusted off the engine area, cleaned the under carriage, cleaning out the intake (street sweeper), a good Z2 washing, and a fresh coat of Zaino Z5. And for today, already an early morning ride, next a toothbrush to the crooks & crannies along with a conditioning of the weather striping with dielectric grease. (Now the yuki part... taxes and yard work!) (Hey anyone notice that GM's Dielectric grease now comes in a small jar instead of a tube, kind of neat - easier to apply with a soft cloth .)
Weekends are just too darn short. That's ok, three day weekend next week and a five day weekend after that one. Should be some beach time in one of those upcoming days.
Also installed a new Kenwood 4 channel amp and took a ride on Saturday.
I have been working on the car for the past few weekends. Good to get it done and on the road again. Sometimes it is good to be without so you appreciate how great the ride is. :steering:
