Aloha, finally did it!
After reading here on your great site for the past few months I finally registered. To be quite honest, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as the vast majority here, therefore it's been a read & learn only to this point. I purchased my '91 white coupe back in Aug. '03, a dream come true for me. I figured I had the perfect timing, turned the big 40 in Feb. '03, classic, thinning hair, gold chain & all! My leisure time is pretty much weekend evenings only as I work much too much hours trying to 'make it' with a family in paradise. Anyway, as per the norm, my 101K mi. corvette has not been without an issue or two and thus far with some help reading others posts here & Chilton's, I have managed to do okay. However, my first month or so was tough, new tires, battery, plugs, wires, waterpump $$$, a week with a no start condition, I really was starting to think 'money pit'. BUT, no, nope, the da*n thing started to grow on me instead, crazy yeah? Now, although issues are still to be addressed, I LOVE IT!!! It truly is a sickness. As I eluded to, my mechanical knowledge ranks just above novice, so probably as soon as tomorrow, I'll be respectfully asking for your collective advise & expertise in making my 'Vette all that it should be. :seeya

skydaman, that's great to hear, I felt like I was all alone on my own C-4 Island on an Island. I work Sand Island & live Waianae, so between 12 hr. work days plus the commute, does'nt leave much free time...except Sunday's. My local #728-hogs, give me a hogcall. Aloha

No, not yet. I'd would like to see what sorta times I can get after a few issues are addressed with my car. I work a 120 day on / 60 day off schedule on a ship...my off time starts last week of May which is when I hope to do things like that. Give me a buzz bra, 728-4647, lunch 12-12:45 or dinner 4:30-5:15.
