Chome would be more shiny, and also more expensive to do on a TPI. Also, if it's not kept up, you might have to worry about peeling or flacking in the future. That is not the case with polishing, as long as you keep it up. Plus it's less expensive to do than chome plating. Also, a quality polishing job's shine is close enough to chrome for me. That is why I personally went with polishing on the TPI as compared to chrome plating. My alternator is chrome plated. The rest of my TPI is polished, and I can barely tell a difference between the polishing parts and my chrome alternator. :thumbs:

chrome good,but to me it is too bling bling for the engine bay.polished runner look good and other parts too.i love the look of polished over chrome. IMO :cool: good job!
