Re: Ever lied about prices? (britvette)
My husband can't lie to me....I work at the credit union our account is with!! And I pay the credit card bill when it comes. I have to say.....I've been spending more on my vette the last week or so than he has on his. But he likes that too! :D

I never lied. On my last set of projects (heads/cam, blew motor, 383 stroker motor, DFI 7, etc...) I simply told here that she didn't want to know.
She asked again about a month later, told her, she said "your're right, I didn't want to know". :)

Not to another vette owner, but when people ask me how much my exhaust cost for example, I always tell them much less.
Thats funny, I do the same thing. My exhaust, headers, etc. cost a small fortune when all said & done

Re: Ever lied about prices? (CanadaVette)
Never. She manages all the finances so she would figure it out any way. I do try and give her a heads up when a big purchase is coming.
To keep it straight we put it all on one of those Corvette credit cards. In Quicken Deluxe 2004, she divides it up between 1985 purchases, 2003 purchases, and general Corvette purchases. Too much information?

I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

Close. Financial advisor. Which is why we have two Corvettes - I would have spent the money stupidly on random stuff...
