I have no mufflers, no cats, resonator, H pipe, Cut open airbox lid and fresh tranny and rear diff fluid as well as a fresh fuel filter. I was launching off idle and shifting at different points experimenting between letting it stay in 3rd and shifting into 4th. my best time of the night was a 13.19@109.19! I think the car still has more in it. just have to practice my launches better. my best 60 foot was 222 so i know i can do better. All in all not to bad for a car with almost 150k miles on it and almost bone stock! as soon as i get my 53.5mm throttle body with a TB bypass and some new tires i should be in the 12s!
yeah a 2.22 60 isn't too good. keep practicing. you could probably break 13's with a better launch and the right shift points. haven't raced mine yet. i should be in the same boat as you. good luck though.
With that mph you will be in the 12's if you can hook off the line. I think technique (being consistent with what works for you) and quality of rubber makes a big difference in getting to the 1.9 area 60's...
i have read about stock lt-4's diping in too the 12's. it sounds like your pretty much on your way. if you can get you 60' times down you should be all good.
I ran 12.9@109mph in my factory stock LT4. No reason you won't be able to dip into the 12's once you learn how to launch. Track prep counts for alot also.

Nice!! One of these days I'm going to join you and JTB at the track. Between work and family, it's been tough to find time for anything lately... :nonod:
