I have two metal necks protruding out on the front right side of the engine. One is above the other. The top one has a rubber hose on it. The bottom one does not. Any ideas as to where this bottom line is supposed to go to? I hope I explained this clearly enough. Also, right before the hot water lines go into the firewall there is a "T". On the branch of the "T" that goes elsewhere, the "T" is capped off. Are these two problems related, or not??? (1985 Corvette Coupe)
If you're refering to the heater hose one goes to the oil cooler next to the oil filter and the other to the back side of the intake for bleed off...If the hose has been cut you can buy an original at the last detail for around 80 bucks...

I don't know if the hose is part of the heater system, but the neck is sticking out near the front right plenum.
What is the purpose of having the heater hoses going into the throttle body? Does it hurt anything if mine are re-routed? Is there a chance that my throttle body leaks, thereby letting water in it, and maybe that's why someone re-routed the hoses?
