rephrase that to splash gaurds and its a yes
they keep chipping from rocks down.i know,im missing my left front, and it gets dirty faster there and has a couple rock chips.
might not be as bad on narrower front wheels but on the 9.5's it is.
am ordering some cleartastic soon,if that stuff does what its sposed to its off with the gaurds.tired of cleaning them.
My first thought was that it looked a little bit funny, BUT.... After I noticed that my 12 year old car doesn't have a single chip on the rocker panel, and I've still got rubber on the mud flaps from 2 years ago at the track I decided it was worth leaving them on there. Since my car is dark anyway you don't really notice them and they do a fantastic job.
BTW, I've gotten so used to it now that I have to look twice at a car that doesn't have them.
yep. just bought a set online a few days ago just waiting to get them in. there is too much construction going on to and from work. those dirt truck leave a big mess on the roads. so until the roads clean up I'll have a set on.
Oh I know, and not from the forum OT section either. It's kinda a running theme up here at work... In fact we have a D&D gaming group, our party that we just retired was "The Brotherhood of the Badger," named well before we knew about the little dancing guy above.

The humor wasn't lost on everybody :jester
Oh good, I would hate to think I wasted the bandwidth. :D

Well not to sound white trash or anything, I wouldn't get "mud flap" for say. But I just put on some splash guards. (It avoids the white trash terminology). I actually think they enhance the look of a vette. Especially one with ground effects and especially a dark colored or black one. They also have the benefit of doing what they're made to do and keep chips off the sill areas where the whole wheel bay sill can be fractured at high enough speeds.

Isn't a "Splash Guard" something you put on the edge of a tub for "Sloppy Bathers" :D :seeya
