The stork visited my wife and I Tuesday morning, and now the newest C4 fan is keeping me up all night! He has been for two rides in my 1984 Corvette with momma, and if the weather is good, he'll get a solo ride sometime in the next few days. We probably won't make it past the driveway, but I am SURE he will love that rumble and vibration.
Careful! My dad brought me home from the hospital in his 65 vert and I haven't been the same since. I took it out when I was 14 and he and my mom were away for the weekend so I could learn how to drive a stick. Then did the "Risky Business" thing driving backwards in a cul-de-sac trying to back off the mileage.
Everything worked out ok and I'm now waiting to get the car for myself --- hopefully after the 57 vert is completed and he is tired of the 65. I couldn't wait though and picked up my own 92 ZR-1.
It is a proud heritage you will enjoy sharing with your offspring. My 3 year old son received a C5 pedal car from grandpa so each of us had our own Vettes. He already knows he is in line for my 92.
Congratulations and enjoy every moment of your new arrival!
