I'm out in my driveway tonight, swapping my shocks for the 3rd time in 6 months, and my knee hits my driver's side muffler.. I hear a CLUNK sound..So I bumped it with my hand a few times... SOMETHING IS LOOSE INSIDE THE MUFFLER!!! I thought it may be a lose clamp(haven't had it welded yet, THANK GOD!!) but it's definitely INSIDE the muffler...
So , I just emailed Corsa and explained the problem - Now I guess I'll see how their customer service is - For the cost of this system, I hope it's good!!!
Anyone ever had problems with their Corsa??? (Yeah, problems OTHER then the dirty inside tips!! )
I hear ya. I would think since you paid $$$$$ for that system they would send you a replacement and charge you like a core or something so that you wouldn't have any down time.

That'd be nice.. It'll be a quick and easy swap - Then it's off to get them welded up. I'm just glad it's not done yet!!
I've had mine on for about 2.5 years, no problems yet.
Well doesn't that just help me out here . Just kidding, and I know what your saying - Plus, you've swapped yours from car to car with no problems. Mine's barely been driven since the install (500 +/- miles). I'm sure they'll make good on this - after all, there has to be other perks to paying so much for a system
Don't be in such a hurry to get them welded. Welding is permanent, and, will cause rust.
Use clamps where possible, they'll seal fine, and wont cause a rusting problem like welding does. Welding metal tempers the steel, which makes it weaker. Factory cars come with stainless exhaust and 9/10 although the stainless they use is thin, they break around the welds. If they aren't leaking from the clamps, don't weld.
Just my .02 (I've been doing exhaust work for about 5 years now and we don't weld unless we have too, except for tips and stuff like that. Plus, clamping can be undone. Welding, requires more welding.)
Corsas customer service has been great, as long as your the original purchaser of the system...otherwise they can be a little bit of a pain but they still usually come through. If they do send you a new muffler, which they probably will, they'll most likely send you one of the newer style ones with the "CORSA" name on the tips...if your other muffler doesn't have that you should tell them so you can either get an older style one, or two new ones, which has been done before.
It could be that a baffle in the muffler broke loose or your cat converter has died and its spitting chunks out that are getting caught in the muffler "That happened to me 3 years ago"

Yep, I second the catalytic converter theory. My stockers disintegrated and got blown into the mufflers. As these were the stock mufflers and not a straight-through design, the chunks stayed in the muffler and rattled around.
I seriously doubt a baffle broke loose inside the muffler. You'd hear a terrible racket under acceleration if it had, although anything is possible.
Well, Corsa emailed me back today suggestion that I check the rubber bushing on my stock hanger, and to make sure that the pipe under the axle isn't hitting. I know both of those things are fine, but I checked them anyways. Not even close to hitting the axle, and the bushings are fine. I can hold the tips tight with pressure, and hit the muffler and hear something in there. I MAY take the clamp off the muffler, slide it off, and see if anything's in there rolling around.
