KBD mufflers?
Hi im new i the forum, and in the world of vetts.....I Just got my first, a 1987 a month ago..anyway
Does any body have the "KBD targa" mufflers on ther C4, I would like to know how the looked on the car..??

They sounded pretty cool until I got my engine rebuilt and put on a free flow cat, then they got loud, real loud. Thats when I changed to the flowmasters. I will look for a better pic and post it, unless someone else post one first..

I have had them for over a year and I liked them at first but they are starting to rust on the chrome parts. I really don't care for the way they look from the rear anymore.....It looks like a small muffler inside of a larger muffler. Thye sound good however....but if I were to do it again I would get the stainless ones or get something else.

Lars, I had the KBD stainless steel version on my other vette until I sold it last year. I really liked the looks, and they sounded nice & mean. I've had lots of great comments out on the street at red lights. If you're considering the KBD's, I strongly recommend getting the stainless steel ones, you won't regret it!
