Shortest wheelbase Corvette??
Thinking about a powerhouse autocross machine... maybe an LT5 or 383 stroker.....
For a friend... I'm still stuck on my GS

GS060
Also, if your friend is looking for a racer, I would recommend checking out a 1989 or so, with the 6spd.
The 89s are super affordable, and the L98 puts out a ton of low end torque. Add in the 6spd, and you have a serious autox car!!!!!
Oh, one other thing, the 89s are suspension and brake compatible up to 96. So later components are easily fitted!
Earlier C4s are less common and are more expensive to get some performance suspension parts for.
