Anyone know what those Two K & N Filters coming out the the covers are doing, i mean whats their function?
Yes, they are for crankcase ventilation since they removed your PCV.
I should let you know that the way they did it was THE RIGHT WAY not the ATI way.
In the ATI installation manual it says to tie those two hoses (the ones with the filters) together with a T fitting and run it to the intake filter in your passenger wheel well. NOT GOOD as it will coat the blower and intercooler with oil over time. Plus the T'ing of the two 3/4" hoses into 1 causes a restriction.
I'm glad the installers knew this was a bad idea.
Now upgrade your fuel pump before your AUX that they installed fails and leans out your motor. This is something you can do, it's a snap
Yeap i got the oil....Yeh i heard about the oil change should be fun To bad you didn't live closer VVV :P
Welp, you always got us at the forum to help you through it
It's not hard, just time consuming.
steps in order:
1.) remove 3" outlet hose from blower (one hose clamp)
2.) Loosen hose clamp on plastic inlet "hat" intake
3.) Remove belt only off of alternator
4.) Remove bolts holding blower to bracket
