LT4 specific pistions
I never read about specific LT4 pistons other than LT4 had more compression than LT1s which I thought was head design. I am getting my LT4 rebuilt and my mechanic noticed that the pistons were quite a bit lighter than the other LT1's he was rebuilding. In fact, there is LT4 stamped on the pistons in more than one place.
I guess they stamped all the LT4 parts. I will have to see if the crank has LT4 stamped on it too.

the LT4 pistons have shallower valve depressions which raised the cpmpression and used different rings than the LT1. im assuming your'e going to use speedpros or something anyways so it dont matter.
