Default Paging Cold B

what are your exact exhaust mods? i really like the fact you have 330rwhp with just exhaust and i would like to somewhat mimic it. i am curious as to what you are running between where the cats should go and the mufflers. are you running a resonator? an X pipe? the factory H pipe? nothing at all? are you running cat elims? what brand headers and mufflers? thanks in advance for the info

Well I just bought the car a few months ago, and all the modifications were done by the previous owner, but I will tell you everything I know, and would love to find out anything I don't.

The exhaust mods are: (according to what he told me and what I see)

Full Length Hooker Long Tube Headers
No Cats (just pipes to connect the headers to the resonator, I am pretty sure its not a X or H)
a huge resonator (borla) to a pair of mumflers to the tips
The previous owner told me he had the cats removed and then had a "True Dual 3" Borla Exhaust" installed.

I will see If I can get some pictures, my picture host seems to not like letting me log in the last time I tried. I might just email them to you if that would be alright.

Did that cover everything?

i would be curious to see pics. the stock LT4 system came with a resonator and a seperate H pipe after that but it sounds like it is just a resonator now. did you dyno the 330rwhp or did he?

Default Here a couple of pics

These are just a couple of quick pics I took from the rear today, it's raining here today, so I don't know when I will be able to jack it up to take pics from under. I will look and see if I have anything else when I get home.

In Dallas county, OBDII cars dont have to go under the sniffer. They just plug up the computer to the test machine via the OBDII cable and as long as the computer is happy they are happy.

A mechanic friend of mine told me that, so I narrowed my search of C4's down to 96's, then to just LT4's, then I found my baby.

The previous owner had the EGR equitment removed, and the passages welded closed on the headers, as where he lived the was no emissions check. I had a friend do the inspection for me, and it passed, and he said it would have passed anywhere. The lack of EGR isn't immediately noticable (not to me anyway, or when you look at mine and a friends LT4).

Without CATS and no EGR, it would probably be pretty hard to pass a sniffer, so I don't know what to tell you there.
