That and use Formula 2000 interior and trim protectant by Turtle Wax in the lime green bottle. Lasts a long time and works great. Won't remove your interior switchgear lettering like ArmorAll, either.
No I still just use a damp cloth generally after I wash the vehicle with Zaino Z7 and use that soapy water. The Z7 has UV protectant in it. Mine still looks just like new.
But since mine is a coupe with the transparent roof and its a daily driver, I use this while its parked outside during the day:
I should have figured that would be your response LOL.
How's things going down south? Thanks for the info on the books. I haven't had much time yet to obtain any but it is on my to-do list. Got my CD upgraded and installed along with all the new interior trim parts. Sure looks like brand new inside. Ever figure out how to fix the cat divit?
Just so you guys know, UV rays actually dont harm the interior. It is physically impossible for UV rays to pass through glass, which is why you can't get a tan or sunburned by sitting in your car with the sun on you. The reason that tanning boothes work is because the glass has a special filter on it to allow the UV light to pass through it.
No real point to the post, just thought you might want to use that info to correct someone next time your talking to them to make yourself look smart.

I know they're reduced quite a bit, but I don't think it's fully eliminated by glass. We're talking 20 year old cars in some cases here. Thats alot of exposure over time. And if was only heat doing this, why did my some of my other cars only fade where the sun regularly shone in the interior?
I was in Penticton last weekend..... man that was hot! I was in a burgundy 94, i must have waved to a dozen vettes that weekend. maybe you were one of them.
Anyways thanks for your advice men, i'll probably go with the tint, even though i find it more difficult to see out of when driving.

Are you kidding me? I have gotten torched through auto glass in my city car while working a stationary post. Never hear of a "Truckers Tan"?
I'm a trucker and my left arm is visibly darker than my right. I never drive with the window down but, I do rest my left arm on the window sill when driving.
BTW, I use "Pledge" wipes on my interior pieces and they do a great job.
