Need a Template For Vortec Rammer
Hi,
I bought a used Vortec rammer induction system for my 96. I need the template for making the cut out of the radiator shroud. Anyone have one that I could get a copy of?
The rammer is shipping today. Hopefully I will have it early next week. Cant wait!!!!!

I didn't have a template for mine either so I centered it up on the rad shroud and stuck my hand inside the hole where the filter goes and took a sharpie and traced the inside of the air box then removed it and cut it out with my Dremel. It worked out fine

There have been many, many posts on this subject.Poor fit, warping of the Vortex box. Vortex box rubbing on the inside of the hood when closed, etc., etc.,................................... ......

You might call Breathless to get the template. They might even have one on their website. Also, Ecklers and Mid-America both sell the part and might be able to help with the template.
