Started raining today so i go to turn on the wipers and they got stuck after moving a tiny bit. i get out of the car in the pouring rain and noticed that it got stuck on the hood . after freeing them from the hood they work fine until its time to turn them off and i had to help them again. anyone have this problem? did the idiot who owned the car before me put the wrong ones on? or is this another "vette part" that im going to have to pay 2x the price every time i need new wipers for a special name brand?
I couldn't determine what year you have. Upgrade to the 96' model blades and arms. They changed the angle and length on the arms and shortened the blades in addition to removing the last half inch of metal on the older style blades so it is just rubber at the ends. I can get you the p/n's and prices if you want. Just not handy at the moment.
Be careful, if they collide at the wrong time they could damage the hood.
its a 1995. the 2 wipers arent hitting eachother, its just too tall to clear under the hood when turning them on and off. im probably going to take a trip to pepboys tomorrow and get new ones.

Sounds like the previous owner put in the wrong blades
I tried a set not listed for my year and they hit my hood when I closed it. Went back to the jobber and bought Trico blades. They are OEM on most.
