On autobahn 81 in Germany, which passes very close to Stuttgart, the home of Porsche and where experimental Porsches are tested, I achieved 161. The picture on my signature is from that drive. Could have pushed more but it took a long time to get there with an automatic LT-1 with the 3.08's and didnt feel like pushing it any further.
I watched the history of the Auobahn on the "History Channel", a few weeks ago. Das ist sehr interessant.
128 on I65 in southern Indiana. Probably would have gone for more but couldn't stand the pain. My wife was beating on my arm and yelling "what in h*** are you doing!"
i 149 but then i ran outta road, could have went wayyy past there...... slowin down from tht speed sucks, feelsl iek theb rakes r breaking away.....lol (ABS like crazy)

123 with two liter bikes glued to my rear end. Tapped the brakes to let them know I was going to slow. We were catching up to traffic. Can anyone tell me what a 93 LT1 auto with 3.07 gear would possibly top out at?? On the dyno in third, she was topped at 124.7. Just curious. Not saying that I would ever participate in a non-sanction acceration test.
What's the fastest you have ever driven your vette(honestly)?I had mine up to 168 on the Garden state parkway(I was real scared)I hit the brakes for my exit 3/4 of a mile away and came up past the exit with boiled brake fluid

137. But that was bone stock on a engine with over 150K miles on it.
One trip (coming home from CI4) I held 110 for about 90 minutes. (160K miles on it by then)
I have not had the chance to get over 125 since I have done any mods. At 125 I was at 3700rpm, so at redline I would (In THEORY) be about 185. I bet once I am done with my mods, I will be able to push about 170mph worth of air.
135 mph cruise for just a few minutes. I figured I should not push my luck, so I dropped back down to near the speed limit. I hate highway patrol and laser guns.
128 with the top down.
I'll be honest, she didn't have much left at that speed.
Done some work since then, I'll be right back.
That little switch to change from km/h to mph is a long way away at that speed.
