Recently purchased low-mileage all-stock '95 LT1 6-speed; car overheats after 10-15 minutes in traffic. Replaced corroded radiator, new water pump, thermostat, and sensors. Fans are engaging per factory specs and engine still overheats? Any ideas......
Just what temps are you talking about when you say "overheating?"
Did you backflush the cooling system as well?
Did you change the thermostat before the flush? If so...you might want to check/change the thermostat again.
You can pull the stat again..and check it's functionality with a pan of water and a thermometer. Put it on the stove and check to see what temperature the stat opens on (if at all).
I only say this because I've changed out stats on vehicles...performed a flush that showed some pretty nasty results...and then got a stuck thermostat a week later. After changing the thermostat again...all was well. I think in my case I clogged the new thermostat with some rust/sludge right after putting it in.
Also make sure you bleed out the system. You may have a large pocket(s) of air in the cooling system.
Do you have an extreme amount of dirt/oil caked up on the motor?
I'm sure others will have questions/suggestions.

Yeah, what DukeDiablo said. But, again, what are you considering overheating. Not unusual to get up to 220 in heavy traffic in summer. Turn AC on and see if temp goes down, too.
