Just to brag a little, I bought Dave Cooper [of www. r-dracing.com] Car. My wife is a SAINT. Dave delivered the car today. It was everything as represented and more. AND Dave is a super guy. I in the past have bought his products and will continue. There are very few if any people like him in business. My other Vette will [ yellow 92] be listed next week for sale on the forum.
But whichever it is, I'm sure you got a nice one. I've heard nothing but good things about him and his products. Folks I know who know him think he's a super guy.
Congrats!! That's an awesome car!! Dave is great to do business with, here are a couple of pics of the car from one of the car show put on by Dave's club, and an autox in Centralia, IL.:
Good Grief! I was looking at that car last night after your post thinking, "That can't be the car he's talking about, it's somebody's most beloved toy! No one would sell it." Your wife is better that a saint! Congratulations man, that is one beautiful racecar. You are gonna have so much fun with that thing! Dayum!
I have to ask though, did it include all of the R-D Racing products already installed??
I'll answer this one for Rudy.
The car was built as a full "Race Prepared" specific Corvette through a division of R-D Racing called "Vetteworks" that preps and repairs customer cars for competition. Basically, a 91 Corvette was stripped to the frame where we did several enhancements to prevent frame flex using information that we have from designing R-D Racing products. To look at the car, you won't see a Camber-brace or Cross-frame because we solved the flex problems using a more radical approach.
We sold the car in order to move on to the next project. I can't tell you what the next project is yet, but you can bet the many friends on this Forum will be the first to know.
