Hit a dear last weekend and destroyed some parts on the front end of my 89 corvette, was wondering where the best place to order new oem parts from to put her back together again. Thanks Guys!
Dang sorry to hear that! I worry about that everytime I have mine out. We live in a very heavily deer populated rural area. Good luck getting it fixed!
You might try Contemporary Corvette (link on my site) as they vend new and used Vette parts and may be able to provide what you need at a price.
Yea, I too have scared off a few with my FlowMasters. Once I slowed to about 30mph when one was grazing close to the Parkway; when I nugged the throttle he/she immediately darted for the cover of the trees. These loud exhausts must sound enough like a predator to arouse the "flight" instinct.
Better than the elk we have in our part of PA! Gotta watch them critters, your best bet if one of them run out is steer for between the legs, you will shoot right underneath...if your aim is off though- it will get ugly real quick
From: St. Peters MO Sometimes you have to prove yourself by doing alot of killing or alot of dying...
Try www.hpsalvage.com They are located just north of San Antonio. The website sucks, but he does, or did, have some C4 vettes at one time. he only advertises the drive train on his site, but if you call him, he has other things. Hope it helps.
