sorry for the spec question guys, but I need to find out 'cause I'm going to be swapping my L98 and tranny for a LS1 and 6-speed (threw a rod on L98, already been rebuilt + has many miles)

Almost certainly in the 50/50 to 51/49 range. Here's what I have, along with variables I think might affect the balance:
1984 50/50 (L83 CrossFire engine, iron heads, no ABS)
1985 no specification (L98 TPI engine, iron heads, no ABS)
1986 51/49 (L98 TPI engine, iron heads early/aluminum heads late, ABS)
1987 51/49 (L98 TPI engine, aluminum heads, ABS)
Your mileage may vary...
