I bought one for kicks. Couple things.

Not really that great, and... most are "For offroad use only."

personally i have not tried them yet, but i will soon. they are supposed to be much brighter, last like 10x longer, more weather resistant, and the coolest part-- they are instant on, instant off. with regular bulbs, they take a few mulliseconds to light up and shut off, which is noticeable when compared to the LED's, which instantly flick on and off.

i wasted my money on one of those!! doesnt work as i thought, look like S#!T ... i tried the ones that replace the factory bulb. the thing is LEDS has a very straight illumination pattern so you dont get the whole stop light glowing! i wish i had pics!! but i removed as soon as i tried it

Thats why I put that particular link up, bc, for example they have the bulb with 24 LEDs and 18 are pointed straight out and 6 are radially mounted at angles. The LEDs I see on the 18 wheelers and in traffic lights are really bright, brighter than the normal lights. Maybe I'll order one and compare.
