Smog Pump Eliminator
Where is the best (cheapest) place to get an air pump eliminator.
For that matter, I have looked at Ecklers and Corvette America's site's
and can't find one.
I was talking to a guy today whom just bought an 87, and he said that
i could just eliminate it and use a shorter belt. I told him I didnt think so...
Any help would be awesome.
Oh yea, it's an 86.

this is the cheapest, does the same job as the best - and no you cant just junk it and use a shorter belt. (life's not like that)

Okay, so maybe not the cheapest...
Thanks alot though. I had a pulley left over after putting a Vortech
blower on my dads truck. Since then I have moved and can't find it.
I dont have the time to fab something right now so the ole credit card
is warming up...

since your eliminating the AIR system...
once all the pipes are removed from the air pump...
take out the parts of the pump that make noise (as the tech tip on this site will explain), and leave the air pump in it's place...
You don't gain power from removing the pump, you gain power from eliminating the system...
at least that's my 2 cents
