From: Why are there squished peanut butter cups in my underware?
I think they are a great muffler over stock. The only problem, that most people who have them can agree on, is the brackets fall off easily. If you get a set, I would advise you have them welded for extra reinforcement.
So in essence isn't this a jumbo glasspack? What do these suckers cost? I started a thread in tech about CherryBombers, most people seem to think they sound like crap or that magically they flow less then stock mufflers

I saw your thread on the cherry bombs and followed the interesting discussion. I heard these mufflers on a 94 and it sounded awesome. Not real loud but when I hit the gas it sounded nice. I now these are anywwhere from 30-70$ so they are cheaper than the whole cat back systems. These will be a temp for me as I am saveing for a cat back but want a good one like a Corsa. If you get the cherry's let me know what they sound like..
I have a set of the ultraflows (stainless) on a 2 1/2 inch exhaust. I like the sound. I am not a big fan of the flowmaster sound so these mufflers suit me. They have been on the car for 6 or 7 years and are holding up very well. Bradvette heard them in full song at Carlisle when we reved it up for Chip Miller. He liked it as well.
I wish someone like Magnaflow or Flowmaster would make mufflers with the LT1 square tips. Unless I'm looking in the wrong places, the only ones I have found are the Borlas, which are a little pricey in comparison with the aforementioned two.
Only drawback to the Flowmasters is every Mustang in town has them.

Actually PepBoys and Kragen sell them for 19.99 ea. (used to be 14.99 a year ago!) in all diameters and lengths - so not sure if your $30-70 included both or what...

The 30-70 is apiece.. man those cherry's are cheap...
I have the Dynomax on my 85-they have the duel outlet--they create quite a resonance in side from about 1400-1900 or so--sound great outside but the resonance is a pain--I ended up putting in removable plugs of different diameters to help with resonance--which seemed to help-I pop out the plugs when I autoX --but for daily driving the plugs go in to help reduce the "Buzz" inside--
Here is both dynomax mufflers (88 vette) cut open.
Did my best to highlight the insides and flow path.
The Super Turbo
Only real flow from one tailpipe, the other only let out noise.
I wound up plugging the "noise" one, and sound was little louder than stock.
Notice the fiberglass packing is almost gone, mufflers only a year old?
The Ultra Flow
Straight thru, much better packing glass than turbo.
Dumps into a chamber with both tailpipes about equal flow.
Very good but very LOUD sound.
I've run the Ultraflo stainless steel for 4 years, the still look like new, have a great sound too! I do have to agree that they create a lot of resonance but I usually have a window open and the stereo on very loud!! When I stand on it they really talk!!
