We haven't had any yet, but that could change at any time. Today it's severe thunderstorms, then the cold air moves in, maybe snow, maybe not. I'm hoping for not.
Just got back from visiting family in iA, 42 degrees, rain and just missed the snow it seems. Great timing, back to 86 degrees and full sun. Top off and ride.
For the last month, I've been telling myself... its time to bed her down for the winter. But then another beautiful weekend comes along, like last Sunday.
But this time, as I watch the slush falling, I think its about time to commit her to the garage..... nah 2-4 inches expected tonight, and I'm still reluctant to turn loose of that first Vette season.
I live in KY, and they tend to overreact around here by putting down 2x more salt than there is snow on the roads. So once the salt trucks hit the road, it's gonna stay parked until we've had enough rain (winter or not) to fully wash that crap off the roads.
Well I'm not sure whats worse, snow or flood. I live in southeast Texas and it has rained harder and more in the last 5 days then I've ever seen it I've been driving my 4x4 and yesterday it was storming so hard that I didn't think I'd make it to work because the water was so high in places. This was on MAIN roads. The Vette absolutely would not have made it. There were many places where the water was up to my doors in a 4x4 truck A bunch of cars were stranded. If this were snow, I think we'd all have been buried about 25ft deep. Thank God my house is on high ground and has a garage for my baby.
