Default Help me find some wheels!!

The original turbines I have aren't very impressive and only use a 255 size tire. I'm looking for something a little more flashy with a wider rear tire size...the catch is, I don't want to buy any adapters! The cost of nice a-molds AND the adapters is just too much

So what's a nice wheel out there that'll bolt right on to my '85???

Try discoutiredirect.com--They have a variety of options, and they take used tires, and rims (pro-rated), as a trade in. Good luck!

AFS Wheels have ZR-1 style wheels in the proper 38mm offset for 84-87 cars so you don't need adapters. The most popular is 17x9.5" which will mount 275/40-17 tires with no change in speedo readings and plenty of room for later brake upgrades to 13" rotors.

www.afswheels.com They also have wheel and tire combos. They will have wheels and wheel/tire sets on eBay every so often.

I know of some 2 piece polished Centerlines that have fairly new BFGoodrich rubber on them. 17x9.5 with 275/40s. $800.

Email me if you are interested, stephen2448@hotmail.com

They look like this except are actual 2 piece.

I just bought some black ZR-1's from AFS off of ebay. $630 including shipping. Now for some decent tires. Probably another $700-900.

If I could only find a good source for the tire pressure sensors (read inexpensive). Otherwise it will be next Spring before this is all put together.

Shouldn't they be gold to match your exhaust tips? "Bling!"

Thanks for the pics, at least I have some idea of what my '92 will look like with the black ZR-1's on it. Yours looks good with all those. Choices, choices, choices.

Oh I'm watching...

And JRC, my brother got a gold plating kit and he said if I bought the gold he'd plate my wheels for me ...but right now I think that'd just be too much bling
