It depends on the header. Short tube 5-10 horsepower.
Long tube twice that. Long tubes are illegal.

If you buy any header get it in stainless. CRS headers are bunk.

You are on the right track to do exhaust but you will get the most gains from doing coated LT headers, a hi-flow cat, and a good cat-back at once. for the combination you may get 35chp gain. If you can't do all at once, start at the rear and do the cat-back; then do the cat, followed by LT headers. Whe I did cat-back, cat & front Y I got about 17chp gain; then doing LT headers would add another 17chp or so.

You should also do the cut air filter lid with K&N filter or a ram-air setup, low temp T-stat with fan switch (do you have a booster fan in front of the radiator?) and an AFPR to boost fuel flow at WOT as needed to match air flow increases from bolt on mods.

Before you get too far into engine mods consider your goal and select the parts to work together for best results.
